A real git command. Run it in any repository and it draws a braid like this one. This one is drawn from my writing.

Where the yield ripples: How the Economy Works

Mortgages, companies, stocks, the government, banks, the dollar and savers, and why the same rise can be good or bad.

What fermentation actually does

Every route from cherry to green bean runs a fermentation. The only differences are what the microbes are given, and how long they get.

What washed process means

Take every trace of the fruit off the seed before you dry it. Everything hard about washed coffee follows from that one decision.

What honey process means

Not a third method. A dial, and a decision about how much of the fruit to leave on.

How altitude changes the bean

Two numbers on a bag, and everything a coffee plant does with the kilometre between them.

d66362524 Sep 2026coffee/rest -> main

Why the roast date on the bag matters

A roasted bean is full of gas it has to lose before it brews properly, and full of aroma it will lose afterwards. The date tells you where you are between the two.

What natural process means

A cherry is a fruit with a seed in it. Natural process is the decision to leave them together while the fruit ferments and dries.

The model

Each topic is a branch. A post in progress is a feature being developed on its branch: an open commit ahead of main, with nothing merged back. Publishing is the merge. A lane is only drawn where it has work, so the graph shows what was actually in flight when.

On learn/ each lesson is a branch: it opens the day its draft starts and merges the day it is finished. Release comes later and is marked on its own, so a lesson that is finished but not yet live says so. The lessons themselves are read at /learn.
