Why coffee grows where it does

A crop pinned to one band of the planet by three things at once: a temperature, a rainfall pattern, and a soil.

The pit wall: Jev

Decisiveness is the difference. This is not limited to tool calls. It can be generalised to anything.

Two doors: WebMCP

Set the tools once, and a task you used to do by hand becomes something you can say out loud.

What fermentation actually does

Every route from cherry to green bean runs a fermentation. The only differences are what the microbes are given, and how long they get.

What washed process means

Take every trace of the fruit off the seed before you dry it. Everything hard about washed coffee follows from that one decision.

What honey process means

Not a third method. A dial, and a decision about how much of the fruit to leave on.

The model

Four topics, four branches. A post in progress is a feature being developed on its branch: an open commit ahead of main, with nothing merged back. Publishing is the merge. A lane is only drawn where it has work, so the graph shows what was actually in flight when.
